In 1956, the two Bevilacqua brothers got together to open a bar. Because of a sign limitation, they combined their first names of Leno and Wedo to form Ledo's and hence the popular bar known today by many was born.

Today it has shifted from a local neighborhood pub to a popular college hangout, however, some of the old timers can still be found sitting at the bar in the early evening hours. For those who take advantage of the Free Pizza Fridays, they get to see the wide range of age which makes up the crowd and can appreciate the generations of people who still love Ledo's.

Ledo's has changed hands several times over the years but today it remains a staple in the community. It has served as a college stomping ground to both parents and their children alike -- how many bars can say that! Leno and Wedo should be proud!
